The DRS Program congratulates Laura Chavez for earning her PhD in the laboratory of Dr. John McCarrey. Laura’s dissertation was titled “Epigenetic Effects of Adverse Lifestyle Choices in Hispanic Men.” Laura is continuing as a postdoctoral fellow in the McCarrey lab to complete some of her studies for publication.
